About NetWorms and Oleksii Subota
I’m Oleksii Subota, the engineer behind NetWorms. I work on yacht networks and internet, AV and media, CCTV, automation, servers and crew devices.
Working relationship
You work directly with the engineer doing the job
I take on individual faults, installations and small or medium refits of selected AV/IT systems.
My work covers Wi-Fi and internet, Starlink, cameras, media systems, cabin automation, servers and computers for crew. I also pay attention to the person using the result: whether a control makes sense, a screen is in the right place and routine tasks take too many steps.
Working approach
Technical work with everyday use in mind
Clients usually bring a current problem or need. I sometimes suggest a useful improvement they had not considered. I explain the proposed work in a clear quotation.
Consider connected systems
Time, budget and the effects on other equipment shape whether I repair, reconfigure or recommend replacement.
Think like the crew
I check whether guests and crew can use the result comfortably, from lighting buttons and icons to media and viewing screens.
Leave useful information
A small repair may need an updated password or crew instructions. A more involved refit needs fuller diagrams and documents.
